There are hundreds of unidentified caterpillars around and they come in the most wonderful colors. Do not be fooled by the "eyes" on this one as it is actually its rear end and this exactly what it wants predators to think.
This is the cutest hairy fellow. Do enlarge it to see it better.
Some of them blend in very well with their habitat.
The next two pictures were a lucky find. When I took the first picture, I noticed something strange going on........
a minute later, this new one emerged out of the skin. You can see its "face" laying in the bottom center of the picture. The color is also completely different.
