Farm - Part 5

Some wild flowers attract more than their fair share of insects. This plant is one which dries very well and is quite popular in arrangements. With both the wasp and the assassin bug on it, I thought that maybe one would attack the other but they were quite comfortable close to each other.

This is the weirdest thing, I have put this picture in twice already and it keeps on turning it sideways. Is anyone having the same problem?? I see no way of turning it around so will just leave it as it is. Strange!! Very strange!! :)

This is a Milkweed Bug (Spilostethus pandurus) family Lygaeidae who feed mainly on seeds of milkwwed plants. They are very wide spread in South Africa.

A Dotted Chafer keeps company with a Sugar ant.

This little ball of flowers is about 1" in diameter so each flower on it is extremely small.
