Gold-banded Forester (Euphaedra neophron)

Family Nymphalidae Limenitinae

Found in a small band of forest along the northern coast of KwaZulu Natal.
Medium sized – about 5-6mm wingspan.

How beautiful Joan. I hope this summer will bring back more butterflies here. The past several years there have been very few of any kind, and I love taking pictures of them.
